I trained as a photographer at Napier Edinburgh in 1984 and worked as a professional photographer ever since and in 1998 I set up my own business. I am also an active member of the British Institute of Professional Photography, I have found this invaluable as I can keep up to date with technology.

I specialise in wedding photography of the highest quality, taken with understanding and care to capture the special day. Even today with digital technology I still can’t wait to look a set of wedding images on my computer. Wedding photography is all about giving people pleasure through the art of imagery.

To be a good wedding photographer you have to be a good communicator with lots patience and understanding. My style of photography is relaxed with a mixture of traditional and informal photographs and with as little intrusion into the wedding day as possible.

I like to build up a good relation ship with my clients so come the big day we both know what is expected. My clients have contemporary tastes with a little bit of nostalgia mixed in.
